Friday night Tim and I attended the 5-20 Welcome Home Formal at the Sheraton Hotel in downtown Tacoma. It was fun getting dressed up and spending time with our friends!

Hail and Farewell Ceremony

Thursday night Tim and I attended the Hail and Farewell Ceremony held at McChord Air Force Base (right next to Ft. Tim’s Second Bronze Star

An awards ceremony was held a few days ago at which Tim was awarded with a second Bronze Star. This Bronze Star was for his exceptional service as a Platoon Leader and a Company Executive Officer in combat. The first one which he received while in Iraq was for valor.
